Thanks for the compliment.

I'm struggling to post this like I want because of work and remodeling our house. I hope I can get some time to stop by and rekindle the friendly rivalries.

Spirited debate and trash talk is ok. But personal attacks or tasteless drivel is non grata.

In a blackhawks thread, whether something is considered spirited debate/trash talk or personal attacks/tasteless drivel is based entirely on which team tag you have under your name. That's why some people don't bother commenting over there anymore.

Refs are amazingly bad. But you can't win a game if you can't score. If the Blues lose out and miss the playoffs you could look at this game and the second year in a row a late season looks to the coyotes. (frank) Arizona they shouldn't even have a team.

Edit: They finally call a penalty with 2 and a half to go? WTF!!

I mean, the amount of interference, holding, high sticks, and trips Arizona has been allowed does effect Blues ability to score too. Refs blew the call on Schenn, Blues complained, so the refs just ignored everything Coyotes did from then on, no matter how many times (6) Blues went down the tunnel injured and/or bleeding from plays that are normally penalties.

The officiating was brutal.

Binnington doung a Jake Allen impression.

Just damn. But maybe that goal sparks Schwartz bc that was his best game in a long while.

That first call on Schenn--he lifted his freaking stick, no hook just the normalest of hockey plays then takes a two hander and goes to the box. Wth was that?

Then interference, late hits-apaloosa. One missed call a high stick on OEL. Then the Schenn highstick. Geezzzzzz.

You know it was bad bc Parayko started hitting hard and he let his bomb rip without care for the opposition--something he rarely does.

The few words of Jordan Binnington was neat. Hopefully the Binnington Boners will not be a thing.

I noticed this too. I wish he played pissed off more often. If he wound up and sent it with more reckless abandon, he'd be awesome.

More times than not he's 10-ply.

Right? That was the last time he was good.

The Blues now have one amalgamated goalie.

With his wry smile afterwards it seemed he might have been getting a little cocky

Yes, he is way too cocky playing the puck at least.

I mean, why would you even try a behind the back, no look pass there? There was no reason for it, and he burned himself trying to look cool. Just play goalie Jordan. That is what the Blues need.

What a bunch of whiners! You want to feel how it is to have a bunch missed calls try being a Coyotes fan!

Eddy and Blais already out as they didn't travel with the team to Ottawa. Kyrou recalled

This is why the traded for DZ. Would you rather have him, Butler, or Schmaltz?

Wish Gunnar and Perron were back. Think they both are traveling with the team. who knows when they might actually play though

I'd rather have Butler or two others playing the left side.

Blaise wasn't very good yesterday. I think that's when you throw Fabbri in there. But hey Maroon got in a fight so that makes him.....still too slow; he lost most of the puck battles in the corners, which is one of the few places you expect him to excel.

Fabbri's got to play through it. It'll take time. He lost so much time. If you call Kyrou up you have to play him on the top line.
